Cooperation is for wimps -;)

This has been the week of Random. I brought him in for a follow-up checkup on Wednesday, and the vet found that his ears were filling up with fluid again. She drained the ears, but asked me to bring him in daily to have his ears cleaned because I was having no luck with cleaning them. So, I've been taking him to the vet every day. Random is fed up with going to the vet, and most of the time has been letting out an ear-piercing yowl when I put him into the cat carrier. (If the yowl is supposed to shake me up, it's working.) He also has been fighting taking his meds. He managed to get one of the stitches loose, so they gave him a hard collar that goes around his face. Tonight, he managed to get the collar off -;) He hasn't been scratching his ears much, so I haven't tried to put the collar back on yet. I'm not sure how I'll get it on; it looks like it would require at least three hands. Random's stitches are supposed to come out on Tuesday (fingers crossed, toes crossed, etc.)

Harlee did finally accept Random again. Sometimes she'll rub against my leg and wrap her tail around my leg. She did something similar to Random, and I've never seen her do that before. However, she's been really shaken up by Random's yowls when I put him in the carrier. She's been jumpy and hiding. Nonetheless, she's been sleeping in his carrier tonight. Go figure -;)

I didn't get much done on the garage this week. I'm planning to do the primer coat on the floor tomorrow and the top coat on Sunday. I didn't call about refinancing after all, but there are lots of places to check with when I'm ready to refinance.

Addendum: I did get the collar on Random. I'll be damned.
