Sugar High

I previously bought a frozen turkey and stuffing casserole that was delicious. Now I'm looking at making one from scratch. Found a recipe that doesn't seem too hard.
Read an article about modifying your home to "age in place". My mom's house is a nightmare for an older person, with no banister on the stairs and lots of throw rugs, but I doubt that I could convince her to make modifications. I'm worried about her falling.
I'm trying to convince myself to wear an outfit more than once before washing it, but on the other hand, it's summer, so that might not be a good idea.
I think that my boss wants to keep us on a caffeine and sugar high at work. He's been bringing in Coke and Diet Coke, and today, he brought in Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

Date: 2018-05-31 07:49 am (UTC)Even in summer, I'll wear something and then "air it out." It still surprises me that, even tho I was sweating on a bus, once I air something like a blouse out, I can wear it again later that week or the next. Also, an equal mix of white vinegar and water in a spray bottle helps "freshen" items prior to airing out.
...Has your boss not heard of sugar crash?! lol Stay away from that crap, man.
I'm happy you found a mentor! I need one desperately-- A LIFE mentor. For real, tho.

I have to admit that I've been popping Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, which are one of my weaknesses. Not only is this summer incredibly boring at work, it's also fattening.
The mentor is great! He's a one-person cheering section, which is really nice to have. I could use a life mentor too, but it's hard to find one without an agenda. I'm just trying to read as much as I can for advice.
