Four Degrees of Separation

I've been sniffy and have a sore throat today and might be getting a cold. I can't stop yawning. But I need to make it into work tomorrow. I need to go to bed early and try to sleep it off.

I was supposed to install our library system on the upgraded front desk computer, but IT didn't finish upgrading it. I hope that they finish tomorrow because I'm off on Friday.

Here's a lovely tribute to Stephen Hawking by Leonard Mlodinow, who co-wrote books with him (and also wrote books about science for the layman). Four degrees of separation: I was friends with Leonard Mlodinow's brother Steve in high school. And I met my ex-husband through Steve.

Leonard Mlodinow wrote a book called The Drunkard's Walk: How Randomness Rules Our Lives, which I dipped into but didn't finish. I should check it out again and finish it this time. Boy, do I relate to the topic.
