Thursday- Mom Is Back Home

Or her ashes are, anyway. I picked up the urn and ashes today. The urn is lovely. Very heavy though; it's made of bronze. I thought that I might be upset, but I'm just a little shaky. I did wind up taking a nap.

Cool, we're officially set at the restaurant. I sent Mom's obituary to the cremation society, and it's up on the Web now.

I went outside to pick up tree branches from the lawn, realized how much work it was going to be, and quit.

Texted a hair salon in Champaign for a hair cut while I'm there for a business trip. We'll see if they have any openings.

Took another nap and slept through until morning.

I wasn't going to watch the coronation in the UK this weekend, mostly because I'm not a fan of King Charles, but articles keep saying how it's the one chance to see a coronation, so I guess that I will. I'll have to have a night of split sleep. CNN's coverage starts at 5 AM with the ceremony at 6, so I'll get a few hours of sleep, watch the coronation, and go back to sleep.

Charles is nearly 75. I bet in about 10 years William will be up. Or there won't be a monarchy anymore. I'm not a fan and primarily hoping that people who are protesting peacefully won't be arrested.
I am glad the urn is nice and you are doing ok.
