Volunteer work
Well, I just signed up as a volunteer to be a friend/mentor to someone with mental illness. I did tell them that I had bipolar disorder and was stable on medication, so if they want to exclude me, hopefully they will do so up front (and I'll sign up for something else). I would think that they would want me because I'm a model mental health patient: I keep my doctor's appointments, take my meds, and have a responsible job and use Wonder Bread 7 ways (or is it 12 ways?). We'll see what happens.
I've figured out how I'm going to be good; now I need to figure out how I'm going to be bad -;) Possibly by not doing the chores around here that I intended to do. I need to log off and spend more time offline.
Addendum: Nima let me pick her up tonight. She looked a little nonplussed, but didn't stop purring.
