Question about washers and dryers

I need to get a washer and dryer for the apartment in Fresno. I have a Whirlpool stacked washer and dryer that has worked well for 10 years (and counting). However, I was looking on a consumer complaints site, and every washer-and-dryer company has a lot of complaints except for Frigidaire. Frigidaire washers and dryers are kind of expensive. Thanks.

I've had basic Kenmore's for years, even used ones. The main advantage for me is that they're very easy to get parts for, even old ones, and I typically do my own work on them. I think over the last 30 years, I've had 3 used and one new washer and dryer.

The other thing is that the fancier a model is, the more trouble you're going to have with it. Especially if it has electronics in it.
