Baby, it's cold outside
There are freeze warnings tonight and tomorrow. Right now, it's 38 degrees. (Contrast the temp with the 114-degree days of summer. Who says California doesn't have seasons?* Wee ha.) One of my neighbors covered her outdoor plants, which warned me to cover mine. I owe her one.
*However, apparently I've been away from four seasons too long. My Japanese Maple lost its leaves, and I had a fit thinking that it was dead. Then it occurred to me that it might be seasonal. I did an Internet search and sure enough, I found pics of Japanese Maples without leaves in winter.
