The Remains of the Day

I finally read The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro. Wow. Just wow. I got hooked in the first few pages and finished it in less than 24 hours after I checked it out of the library. It's about an English butler's memories of his career, especially his interactions with the lead housekeeper, Miss Kenton. Very highly recommended. Sad though.

I'll have to see the movie version of it sometime.
