A Day for Ducks
It's been raining all morning, with occasional torrential downpours.
I thought that my hair appointment was at 8:15 AM. I got there 10 after 8. It was at 8:45. So I went to a coffeeshop and had a large chai with an "adult" grilled cheese (with pear in it, which is surprisingly tasty). The chai was inspired for a soggy day like today.
A street was blocked off on my way home. I wonder if a power line or tree branch came down.
Now I'm back home, freshly shorn and looking much better. I just fed the hordes, and am about to take a nap. I didn't go to the grocery store because it's raining. I'm hoping that the rain will stop later.
