Recipes?

Does anyone have a recipe for lo-cal macaroni and cheese, spaghetti, or both? I think that I'm going to start following Terry's excellent example by cooking and freezing stuff. The "lo-cal" part is because I'd be replacing Lean Cuisine dinners by cooking.

Nope, no recipes, sorry. Likely, some 'heart smart' websites might offer a selection. Another suggestion is to find some of the reduced fat cheeses, and experiment. Add some skim milk, spices, and it would probably taste quite good. I've used some grated cheese with macaroni before, but have found the concoctions to be a little bland. Everybody's taste buds and preferences are different.

Sheesh, I thought that I was the only nut who was up <grin>.

BTW, thanks for the suggestions!

Hope that they quiet down so that you can get some sleep!

They've quietened down. Unfortunately, myself, and a couple of other neighbors (I can hear them tromping around) are now wide awake.

I have almost 30 recipe links, but two I use a lot are Allrecipes and RecipeSource , which is the new home of the old SOAR database.

For spaghetti sauce, I use chili with beans ;) It's my all-purpose meat sauce, lol!
