In an old article about college admissions, I saw an interesting admissions question to which I'd love to hear LJers' answers:

Given the probability that the federal tax code, nondairy creamer, Dennis Rodman, and the art of mime all came from outer space, name something else that has extraterrestrial origins and explain why.
