I Have No Words

The doctor is talking about doing palliative care for Mom. They said that she isn't getting better and she has so many health problems: the multiple myeloma, which isn't getting treated; the lung cancer, which isn't getting treated; the COVID, and the kidney problems. She wants me to talk to Mom, but I told her that Mom isn't answering her phone. I told her that I would come back in town on the weekend.

Needless to say, I'm shaken up. I decided to work this afternoon and take tomorrow afternoon off. I'm sad and feeling exhausted.

Napped and was out cold. Successfully ran some errands: got a light bulb for the dining room, got light bulbs for the dome light in Mom's car (Yay! And that wasn't a big sale, but the guy at the auto supply place was very helpful), and some dessert munchies.

I'm mulling over going back to bed, but I'm not really tired yet. I have homework to work on but I also want to get up early. I worked on homework a little but now I'm going to bed.

You must be in shock. How did this go downhill so quickly? She has cancer and it isn't being treated?? I have no words, only *Hugs* for you and your mom.
