California Prop. 8 (Ban on Gay Marriage) passed. Damn it. I wish I had been in California to vote against it, although my vote wouldn't have made the difference.

I was pretty sickened to see people at the 'yes on 8' campaign headquarters dancing because they had won. What pleasure could someone get from stopping same sex marriage?
