Thank you for pointing this out to me. I've sent a message to both the Director of Veterinary Services and the Adoptions Supervisor at Tree House and I work tomorrow, so we will, at the very least, have some guidance to offer in this situation. I don't personally know if we would be able to admit these cats for a variety of reasons, but the people I've sent a plea to will know or will be able to find out. I'll keep you abreast.

Just wanted you to know that the Adoptions Supervisor had already received a message about these cats prior to hearing from me, so she's all over it. I've asked to be updated on this case so I can pass info on to you.

You wouldn't believe the number of calls, emails and pleas shelters receive each day. The good news is, stray cat populations are down due to continued Trap-Neuter-Return work done throughout the city by regular people in their communities. I heard the stats the other day, but I'll have to verify them-- still, it's down by millions, so good work IS being done!
