I've been hooked on a blog about actors and actresses in classic movies, Scandals of Classic Hollywood. It isn't just about gossip (although there is some), but discusses their lives from a modern perspective. The article about Dorothy Dandridge will break your heart. She was talented and smokin' hot, but her life went to hell. Damn Hollywood and damn racism. Anyway, I recommend the site if you want to read something different. The comments are sometimes interesting too. (At least, I found it interesting that I'm not the only one who finds Warren Beatty off-putting.) ravengirl, you might enjoy the site because you like movies.

I saw a TV movie last century about Dandridge (on HBO?)-- it was a sad tale, indeed.
