Sugar High

I previously bought a frozen turkey and stuffing casserole that was delicious. Now I'm looking at making one from scratch.  Found a recipe that doesn't seem too hard.

Read an article about modifying your home to "age in place". My mom's house is a nightmare for an older person, with no banister on the stairs and lots of throw rugs, but I doubt that I could convince her to make modifications. I'm worried about her falling.

I'm trying to convince myself to wear an outfit more than once before washing it, but on the other hand, it's summer, so that might not be a good idea.

I think that my boss wants to keep us on a caffeine and sugar high at work. He's been bringing in Coke and Diet Coke, and today, he brought in Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

I've received a mentor from my branch of the national library association, and he seems gung-ho about being a mentor. I hope that this mentorship will work well for the both of us.

My mom just told me the other day that she'd been on the roof of the house. Again. LOL IKR?! Even when we're young, some things are dangerous. Ah well, I can't control her. I do hope your mom goes for the reasonable things like railings.

Even in summer, I'll wear something and then "air it out." It still surprises me that, even tho I was sweating on a bus, once I air something like a blouse out, I can wear it again later that week or the next. Also, an equal mix of white vinegar and water in a spray bottle helps "freshen" items prior to airing out.

...Has your boss not heard of sugar crash?! lol Stay away from that crap, man.

I'm happy you found a mentor! I need one desperately-- A LIFE mentor. For real, tho.
