The teacher of the voice class says that we need gauze for an exercise. I might have some in my first aid kit? We're wrapping our tongues in gauze. Weird.

Got up and threw laundry in. Now I've fed myself and the girls and threw laundry in the dryer. Now Mimi has settled on my lap.

Found a blog from some people who are hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. Must read it.

Had a nice nap. The salad was good, although I put too much dressing on it. Threw myself together and watered the garden.

Had the voice class. We were working on relaxing the tongue and the gauze was to pull gently on the tongue. It told me the same thing that the other teacher said, there isn't a lot of tension in my tongue, except when I sing high notes. The teacher said to work my way up in relaxing the tongue for high notes.

Ran to the store to get lemons to make more salad dressing. Had a bite to eat. Zara apparently likes lemon pound cake. Strange cat :) Mimi is on my lap again.

Soaked a litter box in the tub. Soaked dishes in the sink and scrubbed the side of the sink where I keep my dish drainer. Cleaned off my kitchen table. Decluttered the area around my kitchen table. Swept near the kitchen table.

I've decided not to make dinner (chicken breasts, broccoli, and mashed cauliflower) tonight but to keep cleaning and have soup if I get hungry. Quicker and low cal.

I'm boiling hot, but it's too cool outside to turn the a/c on. I suppose that I could open a window, but I'm afraid that it will get too cold at night. It's only 60 F. I could step outside and literally chill.

I'm going to have some soup, practice, and go to sleep. I need to get up early for a webinar, but I'm taking the rest of the day off and can take a nap.
