Mostly Dug Out

Oh! The pairs free skate is on Saturday at 5 AM. I was thinking that it was Sunday. I'll try to pry myself out of bed. I overslept the skating. Oh well.

I'm having the opposite of losing your sense of smell; it's becoming more acute. Weird.

Did my morning routine and napped. Woke up when mower guy came by to clean out the snow. He said, "Shit, I might need my chisel," when he looked at the snow that stopped me. He said that he could make it so that I could get out though. He's going to get a chisel and some salt to clean out by the street. I thanked him and he thanked my for my patience because his tools got stolen. It's kind of nice to stay inside and have someone else worry about getting the snow out.

I received an enormous mop pail with wheels. Except two of the wheels keep falling off. Hmm.

Ugh. I feel like napping again, but I need to set up my veggie lasagna in the crock pot. Done! The lasagna is cooking. I'm resting a moment before loading the dishwasher (done). Had a nice second nap. I was out cold, so I must have needed it.

Studied German and Italian. The German homework was hard.

Watched the rebroadcast of the pairs figure skating. I'm glad that I got a chance to see it.

Talked to Mom. Her bone marrow biopsy went well. And now we wait. She's trying to get stuff done while she's waiting. Her friend Kate wants to visit, but Mom doesn't feel up to it.

I'm feeling dizzy and headachy. A delayed reaction to my fall yesterday? I wrote my German teacher and told her I'm going to miss the lesson. I need to lie down.
