Mom Has COVID

I could not get up this morning. So I'm behind schedule. So freaking tired. Mom called last night but I was asleep.
Did some packing. I'm trying to get all the magazines and catalogs out of here. Picked up the truck. Finished packing 14 boxes of magazines and ran out of boxes. The guys came and loaded the truck. I overshot the storage place, but got turned around. The storage facility is nice and secure, and Mom's unit is right by the elevator. The guys unloaded the truck and I returned it. I came home and lay down for a nap.
The bad news: someone from the nursing home called while I was lying down, and Mom has COVID. Fuck. I guess that she's not coming home this week, which throws my plans up in the air. I'm wondering if I should leave on Thursday then and try to come back quickly.
I'm with Mom now, sweltering in a gown and mask. Mom is falling asleep. I'm not sure what to do. She woke up again. She's really fed up the the nursing home and the situation. She was crying for a while. We communicated via paper because she couldn't understand me through the N95 mask. She knocked over her food tray by accident, and two different people said that they would get her another one, but they never showed up. She wanted orange juice, so I got her an Orange Crush soda as a substitute.
Mom called me after I got home to see if the phone was working. I told her that it was working fine, and she should get some sleep. So should I because a guy is coming between 9 and 10 to measure the stairs for the banisters.
I bought a thermometer and will be taking my temperature religiously.
