I forgot to mention that I was looking at book clubs (and other groups) on Discord. My programming classes have turned me into a Discord junkie, and I wouldn't have gotten to know my classmates nearly as well without it. One book club was recommending a modern romance novel, which really isn't my thing, but I could use some escapism and it got top reviews, so I bought it. That got me thinking about lesbian romance novels, for which I searched on Amazon, so I got some of those too. I'm all set for trashy reading :) I had bought Joan Didion's The Year of Magical Thinking and Blue Nights, but that's a little too close to home.

I'm looking at fixing my pain points in the house first because I have to live here. Mom put a set of shelves in front of the washer so that you have to get to the washer at an angle, and I want to get the shelves cleared off and moved this weekend.

And Mom has a collection of oil lamps in the basement. Why, Mom, why?

Dad said that index funds are a good way to underperform the market. So the search for a money manager continues. We've decided that I will try Mercer Advisors. I can always move the money if need be.

There is a nasty smell in the kitchen and I haven't figured out what it is. Yuck. I seem to have gotten rid of it.

I really like the sweatshirt from Nordstorm Rack. It's black with gray bands on the sleeves and at the bottom. It looks nice on me. I'm turning into a Nordstorm Rack junkie. They have nice clothes.

I decided not to go to Walmart because it got late. And I'm tired.

I found a Fitbit Sense 2 for a really good price on eBay, so I bought it.

Took a nap and slept through until morning. So much for my homework.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I got my passport in the mail. (I'm having my mail forwarded here.) Italy (and Asia), here I come (though not this year)!
