Down Time

It's gloomy and raining slightly, and I'm tired. I took a nap after breakfast, lay back down for "a few minutes" after my alarm went off, and slept for another hour and a half.

I've decided that today will be a home day. I need to get cat food and cat litter, but I need to throw myself together for Italian tomorrow anyway.

I've been experimenting with eating my largest meal of the day at lunchtime. We'll see how it goes.

I have to take pictures of the place tomorrow because I want to take some stuff back with me when I leave for Illinois on Monday. I'm going to take some pictures and sculptures.

Took another nap. Spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to post a video to LiveJournal.

Went through the mail. I got several sympathy cards from my colleagues, which was nice. The passport agency sent me a second passport. Huh, really? Oh hell. Medicare sent a letter saying one of Mom's treatments was not medically necessary. What do I do? Paid Mom's electric bill.

Mimi was complaining that it is hard to be a pampered house cat. After I fed them, she went to rest up to complain tomorrow. I think that I'll join her.
