I'm Back

Ugh. Had major problems falling asleep last night. But I got up on time this morning.

At the train station. This time, I had a very nice and helpful Uber driver.

I forgot to mention yesterday that next year’s conference will be in Atlanta. I emailed my friend Lance about sights to see. (I think that he used to live there.)

On the train now. There’s a cute little dog looking out the window.

Had a nap and a (ridiculously expensive) lunch. We’re in Wisconsin now. Finished a book about "Mama" Cass Elliott, written by her daughter.

In Union Station in Chicago. I have three hours to kill. I’ve gotten panhandled three times:( It’s hot as hell here.

I ordered plant ties for my tomato plant.

On the train #2 to Champaign-Urbana.

Now I’m back. Mimi is complaining. I don’t know where Zara is.
