Refinancing

The mortgage guy called me back and offered a deal in which I'd refinance the place, get cash out for a car, consolidate my debts--and pay $200 less a month than I'm paying for mortgage plus debts. The extra $200 a month would really come in handy. The appraisal fee is the only closing cost. So I said okay and gave him my credit card number for the appraisal fee. Now I need to gather paperwork and fax it to him. I told him to check back in a week to give me a little time; I have most of the paperwork, but this way I don't have to toss on street clothes and run to fax stuff right this second.

For some reason, I'm really worried that it'll fall through. Of course, if it does, I'm just back where I am today....
