More good news/bad news

The good news is that I have more money in my 401K account than I realized. Even with the cut taken out for taxes, I should be able to live off of it for a while.

The bad news is that the HR person answered all my questions--but didn't give me the address to which to send the forms. I'm planning on sending them FedEx, but it's looking like I'll run out of money before I get the distribution. I'll probably have to ask my mom for money to cover the shortage. Urgh.

Anyway, I need to mail books today even if I can't mail the forms.

Hot diggity

She sent me the address. The forms go back to my previous company. Instead of sending them FedEx, I'll mail them from Cupertino. (I wish that the company had a mail drop because I'd just drop them off. Hmm, if I got there during normal working hours I could just leave them with the receptionist. But I don't think that I'll make it.)

It makes the most sense to just drop them off on Monday.
