Hmm, maybe it's just this particular week that's making me tired, not work in general. Here's a rough summary of the day:
- Had a tough time getting up because I was really tired
- Worked from home until 3:30 PM
- Showered, dressed, etc.
- Ran to my HOA to get a parking permit for the time period when the contractors will be working on my garage
- Moved boxes until 9 PM
- Had dinner
- Went to WalMart and the grocery store
- Unloaded WalMart stuff and groceries
- Parked my car on the street and walked back (about a couple of blocks)
- Fogged my garage because moving boxes is disturbing creepy-crawlies
- Wrote online help until I logged onto LJ
...And I wonder why I'm tired. That's a lot, and I spent a lot of time on my feet.
When I finish emptying the garage (probably tomorrow), I think that I'll borrow a thought from Rune and take a long bubble bath. It sounds like a nice way to reward myself and transition into indoor activities. If it's raining while I'm taking the bath, so much the better. Too bad that I can't drink because a glass of wine would add to the effect.
Other possible tasks tomorrow: blood test, wrap up online help, and start cat-proofing my bedroom.
Oh, I found a cat toy that Random loves. Apparently he likes things that make noise, so I got him a ball that has something that rattles inside of it. I also bought him a ball with a light that flashes whenever it moves, but I think that I like it more than he does-;)
