Partly cloudy
Apr. 3rd, 2002 12:52 amStill feeling funky without knowing why. I repeated my neat trick of getting turned around on the way back to my office, but this time at least I realized that something was wrong sooner. (I'm glad that I'm not working with any of the developers who sit in the wings that I've invaded, because I'm sure that they're wondering what's up with me-;))
The funkiness doesn't seem to be impacting my productivity though. I'm in good shape on my work assignments, and have cleaned my mailbox down to two notes. (However, a bunch of them will fly back at me tomorrow to remind me to do items such as install a patch for one of the tools that we use.) On the home front, I finally did find the 1099-R form, but spent the evening going through the piles of paper on my dining room table to find it. I guess I'm going to work on my taxes on the installment plan. And yes, I haven't done much of anything with LJ.
I've always thought Joan Didion's title Slouching Towards Bethlehem was one of the greatest titles that I've ever seen. I'm slouching towards...whatever. Or wherever, as I seem to get turned around.
