My fountain grass is in bloom! It's amazing to come home from work, and see feathery spikes that weren't there the day before.

Several descriptions of the plant said how beautiful it is, but I was dubious when I first got the plant. Now I want to get more of them. (I have two.)

One of the advantages of a small container garden, though, might be having to limit the number of plants that I get. How much is enough? When is the garden "done"? I'm going to be grappling with those questions as much as with what plants to get.
