So...buttons
May. 4th, 2003 01:34 amWell, my trip to Raleigh is booked. I'm staying in Chapel Hill, close to the University (University of North Carolina--Chapel Hill). I'm not sure why I'm so up for this trip, but I spent some time staring at the ticket, letting it sink in that I really am going to go.
In less than three weeks, yet. Panic is too strong a word, but I'm in a heightened state of awareness that I have a short amount of time to get the living room in decent shape before I leave. Besides the boxes that were already in there, I just bought a bistro table and chairs for my patio and have been stashing them in the middle of my living room until the rain stops. My living room's a sight. It's a sight that I'm glad that no one can see. During my breaks from cleaning, I've been annoying the cats by taking pictures with the new camera.
For some reason, I've been mulling over going back to school to get a M.S. in Technical Communication. The program that I like the best is...in Raleigh. (Yet another reason to go.) I've started studying for the G.R.E.. Studying is confirming that I'd probably do well on the verbal part of the test without studying, but why not study? I'm in no rush to take the test. I definitely need to review the math before the test.
