Money, money, money

Well, the Unemployment Dept. has informed me that the money for my claim has run out, and I won't be receiving any more payments. There's something called the Extended Benefits program that I'm trying to find out about, but I haven't been able to get through to their office so far. Chances are good though that I'll have to get some sort of job to get some money in. My dad and I talked about my working part-time, but I'm wondering if I need to work full-time to replace the unemployment money.

My question is if you had to find a job outside your field, where would you look? I've been reading job ads on Craig's List, but I'm not really certain what criteria to use to select jobs to apply for. Border's is hiring, and that certainly would be a fun job, but I doubt that it would pay well.

I'm not sure how to proceed right now.
