Cubby (my mom's dog)

My mom came home from a trip to find that her dog was having trouble walking and, as it turns out, has cancer :( Any good thoughts appreciated.

My central air conditioner broke

It won't turn on. Damn it. I'm afraid that the compressor is on the fritz so it would need to be replaced.

I'm trying to calm down. I'll call the A/C repair people tomorrow. Here's hoping that it'll be easy to fix!
