Deadlines focus the mind

I initially planned to stay up until I finished packing. The movers come on Tuesday, but I wanted to be done before Monday in case I need an extra box or tape or something. However, Cynthia called on Saturday and said that she and her son were coming by to pick up furniture at noon on Sunday (today). I've reached a point where I'm confident that I'll finish packing today. So I'm calling it a night. I had a minor mishap when I cut my little finger when I was cutting tape. Boy, did it bleed. I had thrown out my Bandaids, but I fished them out of the trash. I think that I'll put them in my suitcase in case of more mishaps -;)
