Gainfully unemployed

I've been running around doing "settling in" tasks. I now have a temporary Michigan driver's license, Michigan registration, and a Michigan license plate for the car. I now have snow tires for the car. (Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. NOT!) I tried to get a library card, but I need to have a (permanent) Michigan driver's license to get a card. I got a referral to a psychiatrist from my mom's therapist. I sent a resume in response to a job that sounded interesting. Etc.

I keep watching the election news on CNN even though it's getting redundant. I had forgotten what a time sink television can be.

I've received my passport already. That was fast.

I need to make a bunch of phone calls on Monday (mostly to deal with health care). I also need to hit the job search hard next week.
