Oh the weather outside is frightful....
Dec. 17th, 2008 01:51 amThe weather forecast predicted snow all week. However, there was no snow during the day and early evening, when I went out to grab some dinner and run an errand.
When I left the restaurant, I stopped in shock. There was about three inches of snow, and it was snowing furiously. I walked to the car very carefully because I didn't have snow boots. It was snowing so fast that after I cleared one car window, it would get a pretty good dusting of snow while I cleaned the other windows. Eventually I stopped trying to get the windows completely clear of snow.
The drive home was, well, interesting because everyone was creating their own lane because no one could see the lane markings. I decided not to stop at the grocery store because I was worried about walking around without snow boots. Also, I wanted to get home in time to watch the Peanuts Christmas special. (It was fun.)
I'm very glad that it stopped snowing.
