Hmm. I received an invitation to join the International Library & Information Studies Honor Society. I'd need to fill out a personal statement (which would be reviewed in case they need to decrease the number of members) and pay a $125 fee. I'm wondering if it's worth it or not. They have meetings at the annual American Library Association meetings and give out awards and scholarships, but that seems to be all that they do. Any thoughts on whether I should join?
