Don't Know Where I'm Going, But I'm On My Way....

I asked my boss if I could leave early to avoid the worst of the "blizzard," and he said yes. I had a couple of bad moments when I wondered if it would have been wiser to hole up in the library, but I'm glad that I drove while it was still light out. (I was a little more nervous because I forgot my cell phone and think that I left the snow shovel that I keep in the car in Michigan.) Came home and logged on to find that they had let everyone go home early.

Before I left, the daughter of one of my coworkers brought her newborn baby to work. I'm not a big fan of babies, but this one was really cute. He kept smiling at all of us. Adorable...

I took a "quick nap" that lasted four hours. I need to do some work because I left early. I hope that the roads will be clear tomorrow, but they probably will be.

Tomorrow, I need to do a quick round of packing. Saturday, I head to Chicago....
