Contact lenses are magic. Seriously.

I was able to get into the Digital Preservation class that was full. Most excellent. Classes start a week from tomorrow.

I now have contact lenses. I'm blown away by how comfortable they are. The technology has improved since the last time that I wore contact lenses some 15-odd (?) years ago. However, I used to have a very nice, expensive pair of sunglasses, but I can't find them. Given that the last time that I wore them was 15-odd years ago, I don't see why they aren't right at hand. They're probably in a box in the garage. Everything's in a box in the garage. I'm waiting to find Jimmy Hoffa in there. (Well, okay, there isn't a box THAT big.)

Off to buy sunglasses and reading glasses....
