I Hate Planned Obsolescence for Technology

I have misplaced my spare battery for my smartphone, and it uses up battery life fairly quickly, so I really do need a spare. I went to the local Sprint store, and they said that they didn't carry batteries for phones that they are no longer selling. Um, people, some of us don't have the money to buy a new phone every two years. I suppose the new phones have all the new bells and whistles, but what I have suits me fine. Arrgh.

I did find a battery and charging case at Samsung's Web site though, so good for Samsung. Expensive, though. Lousy thing to lose, but oh well.
