You Say It's Your Birthday....

Today is my birthday, and what am I doing? Working on a paper for class. I'm kind of enjoying it though. I'm doing an "environmental scan" of the college at which I used to work, which consists of "trends in the social, technological, economic, environmental (ecological), and political" arenas that could impact the institution. I chose my former workplace because I thought that it would be easier than some place that I didn't know anything about, not out of great love for the place -;) Anyway, I found several mother lodes of statistics, and I've been quietly geeking out.

My mom had a group to which she normally goes to tonight, so we're going to celebrate my birthday tomorrow night. We're planning to go out to dinner and then watch The Philadelphia Story, assuming that I can afford the time away from schoolwork and my job search. (This is a particularly heavy week.)
