I've decided to drive down to Illinois on Tuesday rather than tomorrow. I heard that I-55 SW of Chicago is "a mess", there was 2.75-inch hail in Normal, and I-80 and I-57 had some damage from the storms. Hundreds of thousands of people in Illinois are without power. I'd rather give some time for things to get cleaned up (and I don't know what I-94 is like in Michigan either) instead of driving into a mess. I'm assuming that the people in Lincoln will understand the delay. (Who knows what shape Lincoln is in too. Presumably no tornados touched down there, but there still could be trees down and wires down.)

I also haven't quite finished my homework yet. I handed one assignment in with a whole two minutes to spare, but I'm still working on the other one. And I still need to pack for my trip.
