Freezer

I now have a cute little freezer in the basement. The guys made it through the snow.

 

Speaking of snow, we got 5 or 6 inches,  but it seems to have stopped now.

 

Comcast is coming here at 3, but it looks like I have time for a nap before I continue unpacking stuff.

New Toy

I bought a voice-activated alarm clock called Ivee. You can set the time and date; set alarms; set "sleep sounds"; and check the time, date, and temperature all through voice recognition. For example:

 

"Hello Ivee."
"Hello."
"Set alarm 2."
"What time?"
"7:45 AM."
And it sets the alarm.

 

Voice recognition software has definitely improved. It understood me from the beginning; I didn't have to "train" it to understand the sound of my voice.

 

Those of you with iPhones with Siri probably won't be impressed, but I'm impressed.
