What Should I Do?

I'm scheduled to bring Harlee to the new vet tomorrow for her shots and Senior Wellness Exam. I went to print off the record of her shots...and it says that she isn't due for her shots until May. That's the problem with switching vets a lot. The vet that sent me an e-mail had it based on an old date. (The May date matches my recollection though.)

What should I do? I don't really want to bring her in if I don't have to yet, but feel bad about canceling at the last minute.

Household Tetris

The refurbished TV has arrived. That was fast. I don't have it set up yet because I need to put the old TV upstairs, and to do that, I need to empty a box. (Actually, I should empty more than one box because when the cat tree gets here, it will displace "Zara's boxes".) I also would like a small trunk to put the upstairs TV on. I have one in the office that's perfect, but it's Harlee's "designated petting area" in the office. (I have a pillow and velour throw on top of it. If I was an artist, I'd design a sign that says "Designated Petting Area" with a picture of a hand and a cat rolling around in esctasy.) I'm going to see if Meijer has anything that would work. This is exciting, though.

I need to contact the eBay seller with the Roku box because I haven't heard anything from him or her.

Gloomy day. I thought about going for a walk later. I plan to try a couch-to-5K program, but I should get in the habit of walking first. However, it looks like it might rain.

Saving up for Something? What a Concept!

I figured out roughly how much money I'd need to attend the American Library Association Conference in San Francisco next year (a year from this June) and Midwinter Conference in Chicago (next January). I was trying to set up a automatic transfer to savings to cover it, but my bank's Web site is flaking out. I hope that I'll remember to set it up later.

There's a possibility that my employer might cover part of it if I present at the conference, but I'm going to assume that I'll have to fund the trip myself, and any additional money I get will be icing on the cake.

Next year in San Francisco!!!
