Too Tired To Title
May. 2nd, 2014 10:36 pmI was able to talk to my mom yesterday and today, and she's doing well. She has left the hospital, and is now in rehab.
I was so tired today that I was almost shaking. I managed to convince myself to get some groceries so that I wouldn't have to go out this weekend. I was like "Exhibit A" of why you shouldn't go shopping when you're hungry, tired, and have no list. I bought salmon burgers with butter-flavored cooking spray and dried dill; that was the most sensible buy. I also bought lobster mac n' cheese (which is totally awesome! burp!), expensive crab cakes (which I also love), and a pizza. I will not starve this weekend (as if there was any doubt).
I intended to pick up some prescriptions, but my mom called when I was en route, so I went straight home instead. As it turns out, Zara's prescription for her "happy pills" arrived in the mail tonight, so I'll have to go out anyway. She's still chasing her tail, and I need to take her to the vet, but I've been "hit or miss" with her meds because I've been in bad shape, and I want to see if they help before bringing her to the vet. I can't bring her next weekend, though, because it's Commencement on Saturday, and I need to attend it. Ah, the joys of academia. (Actually, I don't mind except that everyone turns and looks at you when you march.)
I need to feed the girls and collapse. And I need to water the plants tomorrow because they're drying up.
