"It'll Do"
Dec. 13th, 2014 03:09 pmI'm now down in Lincoln with most of my stuff. The movers were great, but I wasn't quite ready, so I need to drive stuff back and forth from Bloomington today and tomorrow. It'll be good to have all my stuff in one place. Right now, I'm running into situations such as when I set up the bathroom, but realized my bath mat is in Bloomington. I just gave myself points for being clever though. The blinds haven't been hung in the bathroom yet, and the window isn't frosted, so I hung a light plastic drop cloth over the window. It'll do, which is my current phrase along with "I'll make it work."
I really like the dining nook in the kitchen though. I put my plants in there, although I need to build the shelves (with covers) for them to keep them away from Harlee. I have my patio table in here. The linoleum looks a little like outdoor tiles, so it gives the effect of being out on a patio, or at least a sunroom. I had the thought that it would be relaxing to have an aquarium in here, but I need to think about that. Pantry shelves would be more practical. Anyway, I need to get my butt in gear to go to Bloomington.
