The Down Side of Small-Town Living
Jan. 25th, 2015 02:05 amI was running errands until very late. I was at the Lincoln Kroger at around 1 AM, picked up a few things, and checked out. As I was leaving, a guy said, "Excuse me," and I looked at him. He said, "Good night," so I said "Good night," and left. As I was leaving the parking lot, a car was right behind me. I turned right, and he turned right. I kept driving along, and he was following at a distance. I made a sudden left turn onto a side street leading to my apartment, and he also turned. I decided that I was NOT going to my apartment, and kept on driving down the street, and then turned right. I didn't see the car after that, but kept on driving around in a semi-random manner for a while, and never saw the car again. I finally went home, and everything was okay. Maybe it was all a coincidence, but it has left me a bit jumpy.
