I fell asleep last night with the lights on and my clothes on. I hadn't fed the cats either (bad Mommy). And I slept for 11 hours. I have no excuse for not getting stuff done tonight.
The freshman are now on campus. I'm scrambling to finish stuff up before school starts on Monday. I brought some work home with me, and I'm going to have to check on a couple of my patron loads on Friday (my day off). But that's the way the start of school sometimes goes.
Mimi and Zara got into a big fight this morning. (The hair on Mimi's back was standing up.) I think that's my fault because Mimi is more likely to pick a fight with Zara when Mimi's hungry, although she did have dry food that she could have eaten. And Mimi promptly wanted me to let her back in the bedroom so that she could sleep on the bed, and I said, "No way." It can be a real zoo around here.
My mom will be coming a week from tomorrow. Yikes.
