When I got back from Chicago, I put my suitcase on top of my freezer to pull out laundry and put it straight into the wash. Well, Mimi loved it and used it as a cat bed. (Occasionally Zara did too.) When I was putting spaghetti in the freezer on Friday, I finally got fed up, and moved the suitcase into the living room, and put a cat bed on top of the freezer. (Yes, my home decor is a bit...eccentric.) Well, Mimi won't touch the suitcase in the living room, and won't use the cat bed on the freezer. I've seen her perched on top of the freezer right next to the cat bed. Instead, she's lying on a coat that I need to have fixed. Cats!
On the plus side, I've been leaving Mimi and Zara alone together during the day, and there doesn't appear to have been bloodshed. I still separate them at might so that they don't get into a fight and disturb the neighbors.
Fighting a stupid depression for no reason today, so I'm going to crash. I'll try to get up early and get a short walk in the sunlight.
