Holy Cow!!!!
Mar. 23rd, 2017 10:46 pmThe American Library Association accepted my poster presentation for the big library conference in June! Wow! Now I just have to come up with the poster. It's about resources for librarians to learn programming, a subject near and dear to my heart.
The bad news is that my phone is missing. The last time that I'm sure that I had it was at breakfast at home. However, I usually grab the phone and charger before I go to work, and I do have the charger in my purse. I'd think that I would have noticed if the phone wasn't there. But it was missing at work. I was away from my desk for a while to cover a lunch break at the front desk, so someone theoretically could have taken it, although I stash my purse in the filing cabinet. I'll keep looking around here, but I have a feeling that this won't end well. If I don't find the phone, I'll go into work and call Security tomorrow to see if anyone has turned it in. Then I'll go to the AT&T store and talk to them about it. (And yes, I tried Google's Find My Phone service, but it couldn't find my phone. I think that it didn't charge well and was dead.) I do need a new phone because this one has been slowly falling apart, but the timing is lousy.
I felt a lot better today then yesterday. Much calmer and happier, even with the phone situation.
