Packing

I did forget something: business cards. This is why I need to start packing early. And I need trial size shampoo and conditioner (or little bottles to fill). And I need to find a spare flash drive. I have one, but want to take two just in case.

Need to get up early.

Jammin'

I got up an hour later than I intended, and took a "short" nap after breakfast, and slept an hour later than I intended. I'm feeling energetic though, so I guess that the sleep helped. Feel much better than yesterday.

So now I'm jamming to get stuff done. I'm leaving the cats home and giving them extra food and water because I'm leaving at 11 AM tomorrow, and will be back at 5 or 6 PM on Tuesday. I've been scrubbing cat boxes so that they'll start with clean boxes. I finished Zara and Mimi's three boxes yesterday, and am working on Harlee's two.

I need to throw my clothes in the suitcase, look for trial sized shampoo and conditioner, and look for an extra flash drive. Then I need to buy anything that I can't find, plus grab some business cards from work. The rest of the day will be spent cleaning the kitchen and bathroom.

Zara thinks that the suitcase is a great place to lie down, so I foresee some struggles :)

Suitcases

I've been traveling so seldom (something that I need to change) that the cats don't realize that a suitcase out = mommy going away. I grew up with a dog and a cat, though, back in the days when we used to travel a lot on United Airlines' dime, and they knew. As soon as the suitcases came out, they got agitated.

Evening Post

Everything's packed except my laptop. I didn't get as much cleaning done as I wanted to get done, but that's okay.

I also found the time to make veggie lasagna in the crockpot. It's good as usual. I need to freeze the leftovers.

I should get a halfway decent night's sleep tonight.
