Stuff and Nonsense

At the old place, I cleared the upstairs, but am still working on the kitchen. I'll continue tomorrow, although I have some homework that I have to get done. Luckily, I have Monday and Tuesday off.

Harlee is certainly making herself at home. I came home with some stuff, and found her happily curled up on my bed. I think that I will close her door tonight to keep her from "visiting" me during the night.

I've been walking around in shoes with a hole in it. (No, I'm not kidding.) I found a pair of cute, comfortable ankle boots at Walmart for $25. Score! And bless them for having wide widths; most places don't carry them.

Mimi is growling at Harlee. Sigh.

The Little Things

I did finish my homework. It didn't seem really hard to do even though I didn't do last week's homework. The lights were on in the library when I came in, and I don't know why. I turned them off and locked up when I left.

I had a grant-writing class today that I completely forgot about. I hope that they'll post a link to the recording. Too much going on....

I also have most of the kitchen stuff out of the kitchen at the old place. Plus, I made a thrift shop and storage unit run.

I can't get over how comfortable my new shoes are. Sometimes it's the small things in life.

Harlee gave me a bit of a scare. I couldn't find her anywhere this afternoon (although I didn't look really hard, but I called her, and she didn't appear). When I came home tonight, there she was on her cushion on the futon. Apparently she wanted to do some serious sleeping this afternoon and felt more comfortable hiding.
