Instant Karma

Instant Karma, or at least, Instant Harlee, got me this morning. I was lying down for a little while after breakfast, when Harlee came in, meowing, and woke me up. I spent some time cuddling with her, and eventually, she went away. I fell back asleep, and she came back, meowing. Okay, I guess that I'm up :) I have lots of stuff to do today anyway.

I've got laundry going, and will have a bite to eat before I get organizing. I did get some clothes put away last night, but not all of them. Plus I need to finish unpacking the kitchen and clean it. And I have some homework that I've been working on, but I can do that later when I need to be quiet because the neighbors go to sleep early.

Mom Report

I decided to work on the bathroom today, and got it organized. Then I ran to the store for a few things.

Mom's doing well. She's been working on cleaning and organizing too, and has accomplished a lot. We both have most of our Christmas shopping done. (Mom has said last week that we shouldn't exchange presents, but we both broke that rule.) We talked about plans for Christmas.

She's happy about my trip to Chicago next week. She had forgotten that my birthday is a week from tomorrow though. If anyone should know when it is.... :)

I don't know why I'm so tired. Maybe I should go to sleep early and get up early. And hey, we get an extra hour tonight!
